UCF vs. Penn State Football in Dublin

For the second year in a row College Football will be played in Dublin, Ireland. On Sat. August 30, 2014 UCF (University of Central Florida) will play  Penn State at Croke Park.  We have designed a lovely 7 day tour to add on to the big game.

Ireland is expecting thousands to travel over to enjoy the beauty and hospitality of the Irish in addition to cheering on their team.  As an added bonus to this tour you will have the option to experience Ireland’s National Sport of Gaelic Football.  Our tour is designed with you, the customer in mind.  There are many “packages” being offered at a very high price so we are very excited to be able to offer you tickets to the game and a leisurely tour of the Emerald Isle all for only $3,299 per person including air from Orlando.

It all begins when you land in Dublin on Aug 24th and begin your journey across the midlands to the ancient monastic site of Clonmacnoise (founded in 545).  In a short while you reach your destination for the next two nights in Galway.  If you are weary from the journey you will have plenty of time to relax and freshen up before meeting your travel companions for dinner in the lovely Pillo Hotel.

After a good nights sleep and delicious breakfast you will enjoy a beautiful scenic drive today into Connemara with your first visit to Kylemore Abbey.  Our next stop is at Celtic Crystal for a glass cutting demonstration of this award winning colored glass.  We return back to Galway and turn you loose to experience some of the great restaurants and pubs with traditional music.

After breakfast we say so long to Galway and head south down the coast to the majestic Cliffs of Moher, a five mile long rocky wall that rises 700 feet above the Atlantic.  Our final destination tonight is the hustling and bustling town of Killarney where you’ll have some free time before meeting the group for dinner in your hotel, Travel Inn Foss.

Our journey today is the famous Ring of Kerry, a circular route with breathtaking views.  We return to Killarney with the evening free for pub crawls or just strolling through this lovely town.

Want the gift of eloquence?  Today you will have the opportunity to climb to the top of Blarney Castle to kiss the magical stone, and also have plenty of time for shopping at the famous Blarney Woollen Mills.  We continue on to the most spectacular group of medieval monuments in Ireland, The Rock of Cashel.  From here it’s a short drive to the Newpark Hotel in Kilkenny.  The remainder of the afternoon and evening are free to explore this great city with all of its pubs and restaurants.

Excitement is in the air as we depart for Dublin today.  Your driver will take you on a panoramic tour of the city and then give you plenty of time to explore on your own.  The city should be busting with excitement!!!  The day has arrived and it’s game time.  After a leisurely morning we’ll get you to Croke Park for the 1:30 pm kick off.  The remainder of the day and evening are yours to celebrate the WIN and experience Dublin’s pubs and restaurants.

Today is a day of rest!  You are welcome to take the day and just relax and explore at your own pace or have the option to experience one of Ireland’s National Sports, Gaelic Football.  (tickets will be purchased separately)  This will give you an opportunity to mingle with the locals who can help you to understand the game and enjoy a pint or two with them after the match!!

Today you say farewell to the Emerald Isle with hopes and visions of returning someday.3
